Police plan meeting on downtown cameras

FARGO – The use of police security cameras downtown as well as overall crime trends here will be discussed by police in a community meeting next month.

Downtown officers and supervisors for the Fargo Police Department will be on hand Dec. 11 to discuss downtown crime and how it compares to citywide trends, Lt. Joel Vettel said in a media release.

The meeting will take place in the City Commission Room at Fargo City Hall from 4 to 6 p.m. It is open to the public. It will also be broadcast live on cable channel 12 in Fargo and online
