RedHawks' Stovall headed to Diamondbacks organization

FARGO – The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks have sold the contract of infielder/outfielder Ryan Stovall to the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Stovall, 25, will report to minor league spring training with the Diamondbacks in March. Stovall batted .290 with 16 doubles, seven home runs, 52 RBIs and 25 stolen bases in 80 games for the RedHawks last season.

Stovall is the 60th player the RedHawks have moved to a Major League organization in their franchise history.
