Letter: They are not caring for ownI ask that everyone remember when they close their eyes at night to say a prayer for the children crawling into their beds at night in fear, hurting and alone in their struggles and pain.
The children of Spirit Lake, N.D., look to their parents, their elders and their lawmakers to defend and protect them, and they are not there. Our most precious resource, our most innocent. Not anymore, and the residents of Spirit Lake are not doing enough to take care of their own. Where is their pride now?
I wonder how they sleep at night. I’m not.
