Letter: Truly humbled by our right to voteAs I quietly sat in the Cass County Courthouse filling in my early ballot, I was overcome with how truly blessed I was. Men and woman have been killed or injured for life so that I am privileged to cast a vote for the candidates of my choice. It was a truly humbling experience for me.
I hope and pray that no one takes their right to a vote, in these United States, for granted. Americans’ right to vote is a privilege all American citizens have because of the unselfishness of those who have sacrificed their lives.
I would also remind Americans that we continue to be blessed because a very few still stand in harm’s way so all Americans have the right to vote.
