Baune breaks TD record as Cobbers win finale

ST. PETER, Minn. – Concordia College kept its NCAA Division III postseason hopes alive with a 29-10 victory against Gustavus Adolphus in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference football Saturday.

Brett Baune rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns for the Cobbers in their regular-season finale.

Baune’s third score was the 34th of his career, breaking the school record for career touchdowns previously set by Terry Horan, who is now the Cobbers coach.

Concordia (8-2, 6-2 MIAC) will learn whether or not it made the playoffs when the field is announced today.
