Hires and promotions Nov. 10Re/Max Legacy Realty adds 3 agents in Fargo
Jim Kapphahn, Ron Boe and Morris Pyle have joined Re/Max Legacy Realty in Fargo.
Kapphahn is a native of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. He has more than 30 years of sales and finance experience in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Boe has more than 10 years of experience in residential real estate sales. He previously worked as a health care analyst and is also a retired member of the North Dakota Army and Air National Guard.
Pyle has been a real estate broker in the Fargo-Moorhead area for more than 40 years. He is a native of West Fargo and graduated from North Dakota State University. He also served as a West Fargo city commissioner for eight years.
Brent Haase joins Fredrikson & Byron
Brent A. Haase has joined the Fredrikson & Byron Law Firm as an associate attorney in the corporate group.
He assists clients in securities compliance, transactional matters, and general corporate concerns. Haase previously worked as a law clerk at Fredrikson & Byron.
Grindberg to head aviation business unit
Tony Grindberg has joined the business development team at Appareo Systems, Fargo, as aviation business unit manager.
Grindberg has more than 20 years of business development and aviation experience. Most recently he launched the North Dakota State University Research and Technology Park as a start-up entity and during his tenure led private investments totaling more than $70 million that created a technology environment producing nearly 900 jobs.
Grindberg is an elected member of the North Dakota state Senate and has served as a board member on numerous community and national organizations including the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber of Commerce.
A native of Mapleton, N.D., Grindberg has business and aviation degrees from Minnesota State University Moorhead and the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton. He has also held a private pilot’s license for more than 20 years.
Bell State Bank & Trust promotes three people
Bell State Bank & Trust has promoted Kyle Larson to personal banking officer at the location at 1333 8th St. S., Moorhead, Kathy Radermacher to personal banking officer at the branch at 3100 13th Ave. S., Fargo, and Katie Winje to personal banking officer at the location at 2501 S. University Drive, Fargo.
Larson, originally from Mahnomen, Minn., earned a business management degree from Concordia College and has been in the banking field for two years. He joined Bell State Bank in 2011 and previously was a customer service specialist at the bank’s downtown Fargo location.
Radermacher is originally from Thompson, N.D. She earned a degree from Aaker’s Business College and has been in the banking field for 20 years. She joined Bell State Bank in June and previously was an administrative assistant in the loan administration department.
Winje, originally from Moorhead, earned an associate degree in finance from Minnesota State Community and Technical College and has been in the banking field for seven years.
DFC hires senior solutions architect
Mark Anderson has joined DFC Consultants as a senior solutions architect in the Fargo office.
Anderson has more than 17 years of experience in the software industry. He previously worked for WennSoft, Professional Advantage and Great Plains Software. He is a graduate of Bemidji (Minn.) State University with a degree in computer science.
Human service centers name regional director
Jeff Stenseth has been named regional director of the Southeast Human Service Center, Fargo, and the South Central Human Service Center, Jamestown, N.D. He has served as associate director of the Fargo center since 2007. He replaces Candace Fuglesten, who retired.
Stenseth has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health and addiction treatment fields. Since 1998, he has held various positions at the Fargo center and was instrumental in preparing for the statewide implementation of the integrated dual diagnosis treatment program that treats people who have chronic addictions and serious mental health issues.
Stenseth has a master’s degree in counseling from Minnesota State University Moorhead, a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University and an associate degree in liberal studies from West Valley College, Saratoga, Calif.
Kent Kolstad hired as event technical director
Media Productions, Fargo, has hired Kent Kolstad as an event technical director.
Kolstad has more than 13 years of live event and theatrical production experience. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and literature education from Concordia College.
Houston Engineering hires Dahlberg, Rieke
Houston Engineering, Fargo, has hired Naomi Dahlberg as a proposal coordinator and Melissa Rieke has an administrative assistant.
Dahlberg is a native of St. Paul and graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. She previously worked at Sundog and Microsoft, both in Fargo.
Rieke is originally from Waubun, Minn., and graduated from Bemidji (Minn.) State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She previously worked at Cornerstone Bank, Fargo.
Willows promoted at Concorde agency
Sue Willows has been promoted to senior underwriter in the personal lines division at Concorde General Agency, Fargo.
Willows has been with Concorde since 2011 and has previous experience as a licensed insurance agent and multi-line insurance adjuster.
Ulteig hires Arleth as survey technician
Jon Arleth has joined Ulteig in Fargo as a survey technician with land services.
Arleth graduated with a bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. He also completed a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and wildlife management from Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.
Arleth previously worked as an assistant superintendent at Luedtke Engineering Co., Frankfort, Mich.
2 promoted at Harvey, Ames Orthodontics
Harvey and Ames Orthodontics, Moorhead, has promoted Hillary Brown to business coordinator and Leah Thomas to human resources manager.
Brown has a bachelor’s degree in art history from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She has eight years of experience in medical customer service and billing and has been with Harvey and Ames since April.
Thompson has a degree in business management, leadership organization and human resources from the University of Mary, Bismarck. She joined Harvey and Ames in July and has 14 years of personnel experience.

Robert Ballard has joined Nardini Fire Equipment in Fargo as a service technician.
Originally from Edgeley, N.D., Ballard graduated from Northland Community and Technical College, East Grand Forks, Minn., with an associate’s degree in fire technology.
Wheeler joins help desk team at NetWork Center
NetWork Center Inc., Fargo, has hired Nathan Wheeler as a help desk technician.
Wheeler graduated from the network administration program at LeaderQuest Technologies in Denver. He has more than three years of experience and most recently worked for TrueIT as a network technician.

Metzger has more than 24 years of insurance experience. She previously worked at Premier Insurance, Twin Falls, Idaho, where she was a claims administrator for eight years. She was also previously a part owner of O.S. Johnson Co., an insurance agency in Langdon, N.D.
Hoffert previously worked at United Fire Group, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, as a commercial underwriting rating associate. She has a master’s degree in applied economics and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.

Ludwig, a North Dakota State University graduate, earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. She has 17 years of hospitality industry experience in Minneapolis and Fargo and was most recently director of sales for the Hilton Garden Inn, Fargo.

McGriff has web developer/designer experience from Stop-N-Go and the Star Trek Excalibur Project. He graduated from Rasmussen College with an associate degree in multimedia technology and graphic design.
