Charges: Man's pig tattoo was Minneapolis cop threat

MINNEAPOLIS — An alleged gang member is accused of threatening a Minneapolis police officer by posting a pig tattoo on Facebook.

Charges allege 20-year-old Antonio Fransion Jenkins Jr. of St. Louis Park posted a picture of a tattoo he had done on his left bicep that shows a pig wearing a police hat and uniform, and the officer's name on a uniform patch.

According to the complaint, Jenkins’ tattoo depicts the barrel of a handgun partially in the pig's mouth.

The complaint says Jenkins is a member of the Bloods street gang. Jenkins told police he was angry with the officer for an incident last year.

The Star Tribune reports that Jenkins is charged with terroristic threats for the benefit of a gang. Online court records do not list a defense attorney.
