ND candidates take to Twitter to drum up supportBISMARCK — Candidates gracing the North Dakota ballot are taking to the social networking site Twitter to get people pumped up for the polls.
Senate candidate Heidi Heitkamp and House candidate Pam Gulleson, both Democrats, are among the most prolific Monday, posting photos from the so-called "Bring It Home, Heidi!" bus tour and inviting followers to meet up for lunch.
Public Services Commission candidate Brad Crabtree, also a Democrat, tweeted Sunday a response to one newspaper's endorsement of his opponent, Sen. Randy Christmann.
North Dakota Republicans are using the networking site less than Democrats, though PSC commissioner Kevin Cramer, Gulleson's Republican opponent, used his feed to post his Election Day schedule.
