Letter: Peterson for Cass commission

Chad Peterson gained his passion for public service by campaigning with his father, Sen. Curt Peterson, for nearly 20 years. That experience led him to search for opportunities to volunteer and become involved in his community. Years later, Peterson called to volunteer his service on a city of Fargo board and in June 2003, he was appointed to the Board of Adjustments, a position he still retains today.

Since then, he has become firmly grounded in governmental activities with a strong commitment to Cass County. He currently serves on the Planning Commission, Park Board, School Reorganization Committee and County Government Advisory Committee.

Peterson is a small-business owner and operator and a homeowner, and he owns commercial and multi-family property. As a lifelong resident of Fargo and Cass County and a graduate of Fargo North and North Dakota State University, Peterson has a desire to do even more for his community. With his tireless energy and strong work ethic, Peterson, as a county commissioner, will continue to provide the outstanding service citizens want and deserve.

Please join me in voting for Peterson on Tuesday.

Furness is former mayor of Fargo.
