Daniel J. Klenow, emergency management department head at North Dakota State University, served as chairman of the accreditation committee for the Postsecondary Education Quality Assessment Board, Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities for the province of Ontario in Toronto.
As chairman, he coordinated a review of the first emergency management undergraduate degree being proposed for Ontario.
NDSUs emergency management program serves as a model for other programs and faculty has published work on curriculum development and emergency management professionalization.
