Letter: How can anyone vote ‘no’ on 5?It is about time that we step in to protect our animals and not be led by money and speculation of what may happen. Measure 5 is a start to protect our animals by putting a severe punishment on those who abuse them.
It just amazes me how some people can actually not want to vote for Measure 5. What is it that they don’t understand? All you hear against it is just speculation. They say they are working on a better measure, but we have not heard of it until now and no one seems to know what’s in it.
A “yes” vote for Measure 5 is a start for animal protection. One really has to wonder how the “no” voters treat their animals.
