More Red Cross workers head eastFARGO – Additional volunteers from the Minn-Kota Region of the American Red Cross are being deployed to help with storm disaster centers on the East Coast.
Last weekend, five volunteers from the region headed for New Jersey to help that area prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Sandy.
Now, two two-person teams from Fargo and one two-person team from Minot are also heading to the East Coast.
The teams are driving emergency response vehicles that will provide food, water and comfort kits to communities hammered by the storm.
All of the teams are on two-week deployments.
