F-M Chamber Chorale names new conductor

FARGO – The Fargo-Moorhead Chamber Chorale has named Michael Culloton as artistic director and conductor.

Culloton serves on the faculty of Concordia College, where he conducts the chapel, Mannerchor and Cantabile choirs, teaches choral literature and advises the student chapter of the American Choral Directors Association.

He was previously the artistic director and conductor of the Choral Arts Ensemble and Honors Choirs of Southeast Minnesota.

Culloton has a bachelor’s degree in music from Concordia College and a master’s degree in music from the University of Arizona. He is nearing completion of a doctoral degree in music through North Dakota State University.

The Chamber Chorale begins the year’s concerts at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral in Fargo with “I’m Gonna Sing!”
