One person airlifted to Fargo hospital after crash in Mahnomen County

MAHNOMEN, Minn. – One person was airlifted to a Fargo hospital after a vehicle struck a tree and rolled early today in Mahnomen County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The vehicle was westbound on Highway 200 at about 2:50 a.m. when it drifted off to the right and entered the ditch. The vehicle struck a tree, shearing it off, and rolled, landing on its wheels, the patrol stated in a news release.

One occupant was taken by ambulance to Mahnomen Health Center and then airlifted to a Fargo hospital. The person’s name was not released.

The accident is under investigation.
