Letter: OK, I’m convinced by political adsYou convinced me by your political ads about Heidi Heitkamp that she is just an innocent small-town/farm girl. Just smiling away and has on her Levi/Wrangler jacket walking through the great green fields of North Dakota. Her only interest is in us North Dakotans.
And she wants to go to Washington and make everything good for us.
And you’ve convinced me that that old snake-in-the-grass Rick Berg is so crooked that a snake would break his back trying to follow that rich bugger. Man alive, he’s a millionaire, and that’s really bad for a North Dakota boy. We don’t like millionaires unless they are us or one of our relatives or friends.
So, guys, the way I see it, I don’t want poor, innocent Heitkamp to get mixed up with that bunch of no-good hooligans in Washington. You have convinced me that Berg is a crook, and we sure don’t want him back here in North Dakota. So to keep Heitkamp that sweet, innocent girl she is and Berg that crooked bugger he is, I’ll just have to vote for Berg so he stays in Washington with the rest of the crooks.
