Men flee I-94 accident; driver arrestedMOORHEAD – Police are looking for a passenger of an SUV that flipped over near here, causing eastbound Interstate 94 traffic to back up Saturday afternoon.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the driver of the 1999 Ford Explorer lost control and rolled into the left shoulder of the eastbound I-94 lane, blocking eastbound traffic for a short time.
The driver and passenger, both males, allegedly ran from the scene, but the driver was arrested in north Moorhead a short time later.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m.
The crash is still under investigation.
Moorhead Police and Fire departments assisted the state patrol at the scene.
