Fitzke, Clark win Fargo Mini MarathonFARGO - Travis Fitzke of Pierre, S.D., won the men's division and Fargo's Molly Clark won the women's race Saturday in the Fargo Mini Marathon.
The 13.1-mile race started and ended at Scheels Arena in Fargo with most of the route in West Fargo.
Fitzke, 22, finished with a time of 1 hour, 9 minutes and 22 seconds. Thomas Stolee of Perham, Minn., took second at 1:14.46.
Clark, 25, the 2011 winner of the 10K at the Fargo Marathon, finished at 1:24.55, edging Cody Halsey, also of Fargo, who had a time of 1:25.47.
In the men's 10K, Dennis Lang, 61, of Winnipeg, won with a time of 37 minutes, 45 seconds. Keith Berndt of Fargo took second at 40 minutes, 16 seconds. Kari Brown, 36, of Garfield, Minn., won the women's race by 28 seconds over Emily Mallory of West Fargo. Brown's time was 41 minute, 5 seconds.
Mark Archuleta, 32, of Fargo captured the men's 5K with a time of 17 minutes, 5 seconds. Amy Fredrickson, 33, of Fargo won the women's division at 21 minutes, 22 seconds.
