Discovery Benefits has hired Michelle Laude and Rhonda Hamre as document imaging specialists, Justin Warren as benefit implementation manager and Lindsay Schei as a claims specialist.
HBA hires Weckman as membership coordinator
The Home Builders Association of Fargo-Moorhead has named Allison Weckman as the membership coordinator.
She is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.
Weckman, originally from Fargo, previously worked as events coordinator for the Rochester (Minn.) Area Chamber of Commerce and was membership director for the Rochester Golf and Country Club.
Feakes named volunteer center specialist
Jayme Feakes has been named volunteer center specialist at FirstLink, Fargo. She previously worked with Catholic United Financial in risk management and financial/estate planning.
Feakes is originally from Phoenix and graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology at Pepperdine University in California.
Zimprich joins Western as mortgage processor
Gina Zimprich has joined Western State Bank, West Fargo, as a mortgage loan processor.
She has more than 13 years of experience in the banking industry. Zimprich, originally from Reynolds, N.D., earned an associate’s degree in business management from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.
Torpen, McCormick join Northern Improvement
Northern Improvement, Fargo, has hired Sarah Torpen as an accountant and Rory McCormick has returned to North Dakota to join the fourth-generation owned McCormick family business as an estimator/project manager in the Fargo office.
Torpen is a business administration graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She has held similar accountant roles in other upper Midwest companies.
McCormick is a graduate of Arizona State University.
Braun promoted to administrative assistant
The Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau has promoted Lexi Braun to administrative assistant.
Braun has been with the CVB since 2011 as a travel ambassador. She is attending the Minnesota School of Business, where she is pursuing a degree in business management and marketing.
Special Olympics ND names area director
Rachel Nelson has been named Special Olympics North Dakota Area Director to serve Fargo and the surrounding area.
Nelson, a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in paralegal, works at the Nilles Law Firm in Fargo in estate planning, commercial law, real estate law and family law.
Nelson’s involvement with Special Olympics began in 2009 when she became a volunteer coach for basketball and track and field and as a partner for volleyball and team handball. In 2011, she became the head volunteer coach for track and field.
Two promoted at Fargo Hornbacher’s stores
Hornbacher’s has promoted Elizabeth Bader to assistant store director at the Southgate store and Brett Knain has been named store director at the Northport location, both in Fargo.
Bader has a bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism management from North Dakota State University. She has been with Hornbacher’s since 2007.
Knain grew up in Northwood, N.D., and earned a business administration degree from Mayville (N.D.) State University. He began his career with Hornbacher’s in 2006 and was previously employed by Little Dukes and Pamida.
Kahly named LARL youth services coordinator
Lake Agassiz Regional Library has promoted Jenna Kahly to regional youth services coordinator.
She is a graduate of West Fargo High School and graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in English.
Kahly has worked at the Moorhead branch of LARL since 2008 as a library associate in youth services and previously worked at the West Fargo Public Library.
Thomas joins Odney as administrative assistant
Samantha Thomas has joined Odney’s Fargo office as an administrative assistant.
Thomas has six years of administrative experience. She also owned a small business for four years.
She is a graduate of North Dakota State University.
Compensation, benefits director named at RDO
Brett Olson has been promoted to compensation and benefits director and will serve both RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Co.
He has been with the company since 2010 and most recently served as the compensation and benefits manager. Olson has more than 12 years of experience in human resources, payroll and benefits.
He received a bachelor’s degree at North Dakota State University and a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Minnesota. His past employment includes seven years at Drayton Enterprises as human resources manager, and three years at Otter Tail Corp. as manager of human resources.
TMI hires Tyler Byron as purchasing analyst
TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Tyler Byron as a purchasing analyst.
Byron earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and previously worked for Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, Grand Forks.
Reach Partners names project manager
Reach Partners Inc., Fargo, has hired Rachel Asleson as a project manager.
Asleson is from Fargo and graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She most recently worked as an office manager at Stahl Architects and Builders, Fargo.
Krueger, Schmidt hired at Appareo Systems
Appareo Systems, Fargo, has hired Tyler Krueger as a surface mount technology operator and Tyler Schmidt as a warehouse clerk.
Krueger was previously a fabricator with Tecton Products, Fargo, and Schmidt was previously a central supply process distribution technician with Sanford Health, Fargo.
Marcy named Bethany admissions coordinator
Beverly Marcy has been named admissions coordinator at Bethany Retirement Living, Fargo.
Before joining Bethany, Marcy was director of clinical services at Migrant Health Services, administrator of 4 Seasons Assisted Living and director of admissions and Marketing at HCR ManorCare.
She is a registered nurse, earned a bachelor’s degree in hospital administration at Concordia College and is a graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Fargo.
Montgomery, Goff & Bullis adds attorney
Attorney Paul Campbell has joined the Montgomery Goff & Bullis law firm in Fargo.
A native of Grafton, N.D., Campbell graduated from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and graduated from UND School of Law.
He clerked for the Cass County State’s Attorney’s Office and for various law firms in the Fargo area. He also has work experience in the agriculture and property management fields.
He will focus his practice on commercial transactions, business and corporate planning, real estate and civil litigation.
Sayler joins Pediatric Therapy Partners
Kathleen Sayler has joined Pediatric Therapy Partners, Fargo, as an occupational therapist.
She received a bachelor’s degree in special education from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of Minnesota.
Sayler has experience working in schools as a special education teacher and as an occupational therapist in acute care at the St. Cloud (Minn.) Hospital.
Her areas of interest include reflex integration, sensory integration and assistive technology.
