Sanford Health to offer flu shot blitzes in FargoFARGO – Sanford Health will begin offering seasonal flu vaccinations to patients 18 years of age and older at flu shot blitzes in Fargo. The schedule will be:
- 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 29, Sanford Clinic Southpointe, 2400 32nd Ave. S.
- 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 5, Sanford Clinic, 737 Broadway.
Patients with health insurance need to bring their insurance cards to the flu shot blitz events. Parents should call their child’s doctor’s office to make an appointment for their children.
Everyone ages 6 months and older should get a flu shot to reduce the risk of becoming ill with influenza or of transmitting it to others.
Certain groups are at higher risk and are strongly recommended to receive the vaccination, including all children ages 6 months up to age 19; pregnant women and anyone who becomes pregnant during the flu season; people 50 years and older; and adults and children with certain chronic conditions.
