North Dakota economic group to host town hall meetingFARGO – The North Dakota Economic Security and Prosperity Alliance will host “North Dakota Speaks!,” a town hall meeting from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the downtown Fargo Public Library Community Room.
Attendees will have the opportunity to voice concerns and ideas about topics such as available housing, poverty, child care, an increased threat of violence, the environment or financial struggles.
NDESPA is dedicated to finding opportunities and creating solutions so that everyone, including low- and moderate-income residents, can prosper. They believe that by creating policies that help working families, such as a state earned income tax credit, state investment in Head Start and developing a comprehensive plan for affordable housing, everyone will benefit.
