TNT Kid’s fitness program receives grantFARGO – TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics has received the third and final installment of a $703,000 U.S. Department of Education Carol M. White Physical Education Program grant.
TNT has used the grant to develop seven afterschool programs focused on engaging children in a variety of physical activities and educating them about nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
Each program has been created by fitness and nutrition experts and meets state physical education standards.
The programs are operated through public-private partnerships with TNT, including Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley, Sanford Health, Dakota Medical Foundation-Streets Alive, Moorhead Public Schools, Concordia College and North Dakota State University.
