Voter comments about the Minnesota Vikings for AP Pro32
Overall rank 11th, voter rank in parentheses.
Chris Berman (ESPN, 14) — 4-1 looked too good.
Clifton Brown (Sporting News, 14) — Loss to Redskins hurt. Can't afford a losing streak in tough NFC North.
Cris Collinsworth (NBC Sports, 12)
Rich Gannon (CBS Sports/SiriusXM NFL Radio, 17) — Not good enough to survive all the mistakes and turnovers in week six, time to right the ship.
Bob Glauber (Newsday, 12) — Reality check for the Vikings, who see a three-game winning streak snapped when the defense fails to contain Griffin and the offense is forced to play catch-up. Not a good combination.
Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News, 7) — Adrian Peterson hasn't scored a touchdown since the opening weekend.
Clark Judge (CBSSports.com, 11) — This is probably too high for the Vikes, but that defeat of San Francisco keeps me wondering if they're legit.
Ira Kaufman (Tampa Tribune, 11) — A previously sturdy defense had no answers for Robert Griffin III in the nation's capital.
Pat Kirwan (SiriusXM NFL Radio/CBSSports.com, 13) — A solid team with four wins but a 1-2 road record. I still think they get to a winning record for the year.
John Lynch (Fox Sports, 13) — The Vikings are a good team, they just got RG3'd.
Alex Marvez (Foxsports.com, 10) — Back to earth for these overachievers.
Dan Pompei (Chicago Tribune, 11) — Cracks in the foundation could be starting to show, but the Vikings still have a lot going for them.
