Fargo police get new canines: Bali, Falco

FARGO – The Fargo Police Department’s canine unit has added canine Falco with handler Officer David Cochran and canine Bali with handler Officer Jeremiah Ferris.

Cochran and Ferris have completed the patrol canine training program and are certified for area police duty.

Bali and Falco join Earl and Nitro, handled by Sgt. George Vinson and Officer Richard Nechiporenko, respectively, on the canine unit.

Falco and Bali share bloodlines with Earl. The two canines are offspring of one of Earl’s siblings and were purchased by the Fargo Police Department primarily utilizing federal and state seized assets.
