MSUM linebacker Hauer out indefinitely after suffering concussion

MOORHEAD – Minnesota State Moorhead junior linebacker Brad Hauer is out indefinitely after he suffered a concussion last Saturday, said MSUM head coach Steve Laqua on Monday.

“We don’t think it’s a career-ender and he has responded pretty well so far,” Laqua said.

Hauer was injured while covering a punt in the fourth quarter of MSUM’s 35-13 win over Minnesota-Crookston on Saturday. After a 15-minute delay, Hauer was taken from the field on a stretcher.

Laqua confirmed Hauer didn’t suffer structural damage to his neck. Laqua added Hauer was well enough to watch Monday’s practice.
