Warm weather today and Tuesday, then cold front will move inFARGO – Today’s high will flirt with 70 degrees and Tuesday’s high should top that temperature threshold in what could be the last shot of warmer weather this fall.
Today’s high will be about 67 degrees, and could reach 70 if the cloud cover isn’t too thick, WDAY Meteorologist Daryl Ritchison said.
The warmest temperatures will be late this after-noon, but it will be breezy, with south winds of 10 to 25 mph.
Tuesday’s high is expected to reach 72, with west winds of 5 to 15 mph.
“Then a cold front will come in and end the party,” Ritchison said, with highs through Sunday in the 40s and 50s.
The temperatures decline noticeably during October. By Halloween, the highs usually are in the upper 40s.
