Letter: Brad Crabtree honest, honorable
Brad Crabtree will work for you and for me to make sure North Dakota has someone who not only understands the Public Service Commission but cares deeply about all voters in North Dakota. The PSC has not had a consumer advocate since Susan Wefald was on the commission.
Right now, we have two commissioners who think nothing about taking campaign money from the entities they are to regulate. The law states they are not to do this as it could influence how they vote, but they have convinced themselves this doesn’t matter. They also seem to think being on the PSC is just a stopping place to another maybe more exciting – or is it a better-paying – office?
Both Kevin Cramer and Brian Kalk have tried to run for a national office. Cramer is running for Congress for at least the second time, and he didn’t even have to run for the PSC when he first was on the commission – he was appointed.
Now Crabtree’s opponent is taking money from the coal industry, but of course he, too, says this will not affect how he votes. What do you think? Do you want someone who truly cares for North Dakota, its people and its resources? Then vote with me for Crabtree.
