Bismarck plans shuttle buses to ease parking woesBISMARCK — Officials in North Dakota's capital city say a flurry of new businesses activity downtown will make parking scarce.
Plans are being made for a park and ride program to shuttle workers into Bismarck's central retail district.
Officials say there are 1,345 spaces in ramps owned and operated by the Bismarck Parking Authority, and a waiting list has already been started.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that five businesses are coming to downtown in a month and a total of eight companies are expected to be operating in six months.
