Teen critically injured in Otter Tail County rolloverOTTER TAIL COUNTY, Minn. – A teenage girl was critically injured Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover near Spitzer Lake, the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 8:37 a.m., the female driver of an SUV traveling westbound on county Highway 38 lost control of the vehicle near the intersection with county Highway 81. The SUV went into the north ditch and rolled over, ejecting a juvenile female who had been in a rear passenger seat as the vehicle overturned.
The teen suffered critical injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls before being transferred by air to a Fargo hospital.
The driver and two other passengers in the vehicle were treated and released from Lake Region Hospital.
Authorities have not yet identified the driver or passengers.
