Northern Lights Boy Scouts CEO selectedFARGO – The Northern Lights Council of the Boy Scouts of America has selected Travis Christopher to begin as the scout executive and CEO on Nov. 16.
Christopher began his career in 1999 in Minneapolis as a district executive and has since served in Sioux Falls, S.D., Appleton, Wis., and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Northern Lights Council serves more than 20,000 youth through over 4,000 registered volunteer leaders in North Dakota, 18 counties in northwest Minnesota and two counties each in South Dakota and Montana.
Christopher and his family will be relocating to the Fargo area in the near future. The family looks forward to becoming part of the community and serving families through the scouting program.
