Woman in fiery crash listed as ‘satisfactory’

MOORHEAD – The condition of a Hendrum woman hospitalized after a fiery two-vehicle crash three miles north of Moorhead has been upgraded to “satisfactory,” according to a Sanford Health official.

Doris Underlee, 79, was one of three people involved in the accident, which occurred about 9:30 p.m. on Highway 75.

The Minnesota State Patrol says Brianna Pallotta, 25, was southbound when she attempted to pass another vehicle and struck the Underlee car head on. Pallotta had to be pulled from her burning car.

Condition reports for Pallotta and Nolan Underlee, 83, were not available. The Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
