Weekend Watch: ‘Anon(ymous)’
4The second-oldest work in Western literature, Homer’s epic “Odyssey” still has legs, no matter the translation. In “Anon(ymous),” a young boy, Anon, separated from his family, tries to make his way in America after fleeing his war-torn home. Naomi Iizuka’s modernization of the “Odyssey” addresses personal and cultural identity, war, borders, family, displacement and immigration. The North Dakota State University student play runs tonight through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Askanase Auditorium. Tickets range from $5 - $15. (701) 231-7969.
