Gate City contributes to housing incentive fundFARGO – Gate City Bank has contributed $1.25 million to the North Dakota Housing Incentive Fund to support development of affordable housing projects in several communities across North Dakota.
Blaise Johnson, Gate City Bank executive vice president and director of lending, presented a check at a groundbreaking Thursday for a 74-unit Williston State College Foundation project providing housing for essential service workers, a project toward which the bank has directed more than half of its HIF contribution.
Gate City’s remaining contribution will support a family-friendly development in downtown Williston, an apartment complex for individuals with disabilities in Bowman and senior housing in Devils Lake. A portion remains undesignated and will support future HIF projects.
