Country star to stump for animal cruelty voteFARGO – Country star Lynn Anderson visits the Spirit Room in Fargo on Oct. 12 to support a “yes” vote on Measure 5 in the November statewide election.
The singer, known for the No. 1 hits “Rose Garden,” “You’re My Man” and “How Can I Unlove You,” is a Grand Forks native and supports the ballot measure to strengthen the penalties for cruelty to animals.
The fundraiser, from 7 to 10 p.m. features a performance by Anderson. Wine and light appetizers will be served. Tickets are $35 and available at ndstopcruelty.com or (701) 235-2269.
