Oak Grove Lutheran holds homecomingFARGO – Oak Grove Lutheran School will hold its homecoming celebration this week.
The coronation of the homecoming king and queen is at 8 tonight at the Scheels Center, 88 South Terrace.
The coronation is followed by a 9 p.m. reception in the center’s atrium.
On Friday, a homecoming chapel service is at 10 a.m. in the Scheels Center. At 7 p.m., a variety show will also be at the center. A bonfire follows at 9 p.m. on Grover Field.
On Saturday, the Hall of Fame induction ceremony is 9:30 a.m. at the Wall of Distinction in the Jackson-Gorder Concourse, followed by a brunch at 10:30 in the Eid Center.
The homecoming picnic is at 1 p.m. at Grover Field.
Just before the 2 p.m. homecoming football game, the Hall of Fame honorees and homecoming court will be recognized.
The Grovers will then take on the Kidder County Pirates.
A student dance is at 9 p.m. Saturday in the Darwin Gorder Gymnasium.
Meanwhile, the evening will include class reunions planned by the classes.
Several events Sunday conclude the week:
• 9:30 a.m. homecoming workship service, Scheels Center.
• 11 a.m. homecoming brunch, Darwin Gorder Gymnasium.
• 1:30 p.m., music festival, Scheels Center.
• 2:30 p.m., homecoming reception, Scheels Center atrium.
