Pacwa to present at Marian CongressFARGO – Well-known Catholic priest Father Mitch Pacwa will be a speaker at this year’s Marian Eucharistic Congress. The congress is Oct. 12 through Oct. 14 at the Civic Memorial Auditorium, 207 N. 4th St. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 12.
Father Pacwa is a frequent contributor to the Eternal World Television Network, a global Catholic television, radio and news network.
Other speakers for this year’s Congress include Bishop David Kagan; the Rev. Joseph Christensen, FMI; the Rev. Bill Halbing; Monsignor Gregory Schlesselmann; Al Barbarino; Dr. Kelly Bowring; Raymond DeSouza; Michael O’Brien; John Pridmore; and Dr. Margarett Schlientz.
The Marian Eucharistic Congress takes place every other year in the Diocese of Fargo. The theme of this year’s event is “Do Not Abandon Me, Lord.” The event traditionally draws together hundreds of people from throughout the region and beyond who are eager to learn more about and grow in their faith.
Mass will be celebrated each day and opportunities for reconciliation and Eucharistic adoration will be available throughout the Congress. A sacred relic exhibit and children’s program will add to the weekend, along with the availability of books, tapes and religious articles.
