Fargo production team has movie screened at Toronto International Film Festival

TORONTO – Northern Lights Films, a production team run by Fargo Realtor Jeff Schlossman and two other North Dakotans, had a film screened at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.

Called “The Brass Teapot,” the film stars Juno Temple and Michael Angarano as a young couple who discover an antique teapot that magically dispenses cash whenever either of them feels pain.

Schlossman manages the finances of Northern Lights Films, and partners Kirk Roos and Erik Rommesmo are in Los Angeles collecting scripts and taking meetings.

In March, Schlossman told The Forum that the production company gets pitched about 30 movies a week, ranging from scripts to raw ideas.
