Weekend watch: Watch 'Fargo' outdoors

Following this week’s news that the “Fargo” movie may soon be turned into a TV show, Fargo Fest returns to the streets of downtown Fargo on Friday night to celebrate the film and its namesake city.

This year’s festival gets going with a pre-show starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Fargo Theatre with John Deboer and Amber Preston, two comedians with local ties. Then, starting around 8 p.m., “Fargo” will be shown outdoors on the north side of the Radisson Hotel.

Tickets for the theater pre-show cost $5 in advance or $7 the day of the show. Tickets for a Fargo Fest vehicle that will be raffled off during the evening cost $5. For more information, or to buy tickets, visit www.fargofestevent.com.
