Civil rights meeting slated Monday in FargoFARGO – The North Dakota Advisory Committee to the U.S. Commission on Civil rights will hold a public meeting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday in the City Commission Room, 200 3rd St. N.
The commission will discuss civil rights and take comments from local and community organizations, state agencies and the public on the issue in the states.
Topics may include employment, housing, the criminal justice system, racial profiling, senior services, education, local law enforcement, child welfare, public accommodations, voter rights, concerns of the disabled and others.
The meeting is open to the public. It also will be broadcast on Fargo Access TV Channel 12 and streamed live at www.cityoffargo.com/streaming.
