John Deere Electronic Solutions, Fargo, has hired Hassan Hassan as a material handler, Courtney Welle as an SMS coordinator-CPTT, Shannon Cameron as a customer segment specialist, and Aloysius Jegan Eugin as a senior software engineer.
Welle has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
Cameron received a bachelor’s degree in ag studies from Iowa State University, and Eugin has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology from the University of Madras.
AE2S hires special projects engineer
Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services has hired Delvin DeBoer as a special projects engineer in the firm’s Fargo office.
He was previously at South Dakota State University, where he was an environmental engineering professor for several years. He has also authored and co-authored several published articles, and has provided presentations at local, regional, national and international conferences.
He served as the vice chairman, chairman, past chairman and director of the South Dakota Section of the American Water Works Association.
Collins joins Bergstrom Eye and Laser Clinic
Bergstrom Eye and Laser Clinic, Fargo, has added Nicole Collins to its team of optometrists.
Collins graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in zoology and from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University with bachelor’s degrees in biological sciences and optometry.
She previously worked at Eyecare Associates in Fargo and did her clinical training in Colorado, Pennsylvania, California and Minnesota. She also worked as an intern at The Eye Institute, Philadelphia.
Bollinger joins Re/Max Legacy as Realtor
Realtor Jill Bollinger has joined Re/Max Legacy Realty, Fargo.
She graduated from Bismarck State College with an associate degree in commercial and graphic arts, and also has a certificate in office administration. She joined the North Dakota Army National Guard in 1999 and worked as a vehicle mechanic, public affairs specialist and most recently as a logistics/supply specialist with Company A 231st Brigade Support Battalion, Fargo.
Most recently, she worked as an administrative assistant for the North Dakota Department of Transportation, Fargo District Highway Department.
Two new hires at Prairie Supply in West Fargo
Prairie Supply Inc. and FormAll, West Fargo, has hired Kemberly Mickelson Souter and Alex Mueller at its West Fargo location. Mickelson Souter will work in sales and provide administrative support to the inventory department. Mueller was hired as a drafter.
Mickelson Souter previously worked for four years as the marketing service representative in west-central Minnesota for Acosta Sales and Marketing. She is originally from Hitterdal, Minn., and attended North Dakota State University.
Mueller previously worked for Wedgcor, Jamestown, N.D. He graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, with a degree in architectural drafting and estimating. He is originally from Fargo.
Hanson promoted at Discovery Benefits
Discovery Benefits, Fargo, has promoted Zach Hanson to regional sales director. He joined the company in 2008 as a benefits renewal specialist. In 2009, he moved to the sales and marketing team as a client relations manager. Most recently, he has been a sales director in the southeast region of the U.S. and will continue to focus on that area.
Hanson graduated from Concordia College with a degree in business and political science.
The Village hires group counselor, speaker
Mary Jo Clairmont-Hansen has been hired as the partial hospital program focus group counselor-speaker for First Step Recovery at the Village Family Service Center, Fargo.
She received a master’s degree in education and counseling from North Dakota State University and is a licensed professional counselor.
She previously worked in various roles at Sanford Health, Fargo, including project manager, clinic director and case manager.
Video Arts Studios hires writer/producer
Jim Kirwan has joined Video Arts Studios, Fargo, as a writer/producer. He was previously the director of creative services at PBS-WYCC 20 in Chicago and was promotion manager for FOX and CBS in Syracuse, N.Y.
He has earned numerous awards, including seven Emmy awards in writing short form and non-news promotion.
Essentia Health hires orthopaedic surgeon
Dr. Prasad Sawardeker has joined the orthopaedic surgery team at Essentia Health 32nd Avenue Clinic, Fargo.
Sawardeker specializes in shoulder, elbow and hand surgery.
He earned a medical degree and master’s degree in pharmacology from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans.
He completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital through the University of Miami, and a hand and upper extremity fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Discovery Benefits, Fargo, has hired John Thome, Linda Swenson, Andrew Flick, Donna Root and Nikki Nelson as participant services specialists and Vicky Goeser as a COBRA implementation manager.
Megan Hauck joins Early Intervention
Early Intervention Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo, has hired Megan Hauck as an occupational therapist/early interventionist.
Hauck received a master’s degree in occupational therapy from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She previously worked in long-term care settings for three years, including working as a supervisor.
Her areas of interest include working with children with autism and disabilities.
ND Soybean Council names research director
The North Dakota Soybean Council has named Kendall “Ken” Nichols as director of research programs.
Nichols has more than 30 years of experience in the agricultural industry. Most recently, he served as North Dakota State University’s Traill County Extension director and agent for the past five years.
He earned a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural education from NDSU. He has more than 25 years of experience with the Extension Service in Minnesota and North Dakota, and is a certified crop adviser.
He has also served as an agronomist for Cenex Farm Service, Elliott, N.D., and was the manager of Midland Fertilizer, Enderlin, N.D.
FMCVB hires Gates as director of sales
Jill Gates has been hired as director of sales at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau.
She attended North Dakota State University and Interstate Business College, where she studied travel and tourism.
Gates has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry with Tharaldson Lodging and as director of sales at the Holiday Inn.
Catholic Charities promotes 1, hires 3
Catholic Charities North Dakota has promoted Sonja McLean to adoption recruiter, and has hired Danae Moran and Amanda Sem as adoption workers in the Adults Adopting Special Kids program and Samantha Watson as a social worker for the Pregnancy, Parenting and Adoption Services Program. All will work in the Fargo office.
McLean had been an adoption worker for the AASK program for the past four years. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in social work from the University of New England.
Sem earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from MSUM and was previously an adoption worker for PATH ND, Minot.
Moran received a bachelor’s degree in social work from MSUM. She previously worked as an intern and as a temporary adoption worker with the AASK program.
Watson is a graduate of MSUM with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social work. She will be serving the eastern region of North Dakota.
McGinty promoted at RDO Equipment Co.
Debra McGinty has been promoted to director of learning and development at RDO Equipment Co. She joined RDO in 2008 as the leadership and development consultant.
McGinty previously worked for the University of Mary as the Fargo-area coordinator, directing the activities of three satellite campuses, including Fargo, Grand Forks and Jamestown. She also served as adjunct faculty from 2000-09, teaching graduate leadership, management, human resource development and human resources, and also served as the graduate academic adviser.
She has a master’s degree in management and human resource management, and a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership.
TMI hires Karen Poppe as benefits manager
Fargo-based TMI Hospitality has hired Karen Poppe as compensation and benefits manager.
Poppe, a graduate of Concordia College, majored in business administration. She was recently the compensation and benefits manager at Essentia Health.

Nardini Fire Equipment of ND, Fargo, has hired Evan Hughes as a service technician and Nichole Jeral as an administrative assistant.
Hughes is from Fargo and has a bachelor’s degree as a veterinary technician from the Minnesota School of Business and an associate degree in liberal arts from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Jeral is originally from Pelican Rapids, Minn., and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Field has 37 years of banking experience, with the past 16 years as community banking president for Wells Fargo Bank, Barnesville, Minn.
Field will be located in Barnesville and will serve central and eastern North Dakota and west-central and northwest Minnesota.
