Second suspect arrested in Moorhead home invasion robbery

MOORHEAD – Police here arrested a second suspect believed to be involved with a home invasion robbery on Sept. 6.

Michael Andrew Zupan, 18, was arrested at his south Moorhead home just after 2 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Zupan was taken into custody without incident.

Zupan is being held in the Clay County Jail on felony aggravated robbery charges.

The robbery was reported at 3513 Village Green Drive around 10 p.m. Sept. 6.

An adult male told police that he answered the door and was confronted by three men he did not know. One of the men displayed a handgun, and money and drugs were demanded from the victim and his wife.

The man was punched in the face as the three suspects rummaged through the couple’s home.

According to Moorhead police, the robbery was not a random act and the couple’s home was targeted by the suspects.

Eighteen-year-old Brady Wade Ellington was previously arrested for the robbery.

An additional arrest is expected, police said in a statement.
