Teen girl injured in rollover near Lidgerwood

LIDGERWOOD, N.D. – A 16-year-old girl was injured in a single-vehicle accident near here Sunday morning, the Richland County Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to a sheriff’s office press release, Carla Bohnenstingl of Lidgerwood was driving her 2001 Ford Explorer on 156th Avenue around 11 a.m. when she lost control. The vehicle entered the ditch and rolled at least once.

Bohnenstingl was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, the sheriff’s office reported. She was airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, and her condition is currently unknown.

Bohnenstingl’s vehicle was considered a total loss, according to the release.
