North High inducting five into Hall of Fame

FARGO – North High School is inducting four graduates and a former long-time teacher into its Hall of Fame during a luncheon Saturday at the North Dakota State University Alumni Center.

The honorees include:

• Dr. Siri Fiebiger, Class of 1976. She has been practicing medicine in Fargo since 1990, having served as chief of staff at Essentia Hospital. She teaches at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.

• Dr. Don Martindale, Class of 1974. He is in his 27th year as a family practice physician with Sanford Health in Fargo. He has also been a team physician for Minnesota State University Moorhead for 14 years and NDSU for two years.

•E Chuck McWethy, Class of 1987. He is the president of MAC’s Hardware. He is involved in service to the underprivileged and in foreign mission work.

• Stephen (S.D.) Nelson, Class of 1968. He taught art in Wahpeton, N.D., and Flagstaff, Ariz. He is an award-winning author and illustrator of children’s books.

• Norm Przybilla, industrial and technical education teacher. He had taught in Fargo Schools from 1956 to 1993, starting at Central High School and moving to North High in 1965. His students built 14 three-bedroom houses in 14 years.

The Hall of Fame induction is held during homecoming week, which runs through Saturday.

The luncheon and induction ceremony begin at 11:30 a.m. in the Alumni Center.

The inductees will visit classrooms Friday and be introduced during the afternoon pep fest. They will also be introduced at halftime of the homecoming football game Friday.
