Suspect arrested in Moorhead home invasion robbery

MOORHEAD – Police here arrested an 18-year-old Moorhead man in connection with a Sept. 6 home invasion robbery involving three suspects.

Brady Wade Ellington was interviewed by police investigators Wednesday afternoon and arrested on suspicion of felony aggravated robbery, Lt. Tory Jacobson stated in a news release.

More arrests are anticipated.

The alleged robbery occurred at about 10 p.m. at the home of a married couple in the 3500 block of Village Green Drive.

The husband told police that he answered the door and was confronted by three strangers, one of whom displayed a handgun. The suspects demanded money and narcotics, and one of them punched the husband in the face as they rummaged through property in the home, Jacobson stated in the release.

The investigation indicated that the residence was specifically targeted and the robbery wasn’t a random act, the release stated.
