JAMESTOWN, N.D. - The Jamestown Rural Fire Department was dispatched to two fires within 15 minutes Tuesday afternoon, according to scanner reports.

First, the JRFD was dispatched at about 2:30 after a one-ton pickup was reported to be on fire at the Bloom exit, exit 262, which is about two miles east of Jamestown.

About 12 minutes later, a grass fire was reported about two miles south of Jamestown and more JRFD units were dispatched to respond.
