Letter: Critics need to learn to laughPlease, no more letters accusing Editor Matt Von Pinnon of blasting, bashing, trashing, admonishing and taking to task the TNT Diner.
There was nothing offensive, hateful, nasty, grouchy, vicious or spiteful about Von Pinnon’s column. The tongue-in-cheek, wink-wink piece couldn’t have been more complimentary to the diner or its owners. The lines “an out-of-the-way gem of an eatery,” “their fine food and friendly service” and “the best-kept secret in town” were dead giveaways that Von Pinnon is a longtime patron and a big fan.
If you don’t get the joke, sometimes it’s best to just laugh along with everyone else; that’s what I always do.
