Hot Topics: New trend in wedding photography: Intimate 'morning after' photos

Some newlyweds are hiring professionals to document what happens after the guests go home.

Michelle Jonne, a 34-year-old New Jersey photographer, hatched a more intimate approach to the wedding album.

“It’s about capturing that moment when everything’s peaceful after the wedding,” she said. “I’ve taken my inspiration from looking at ad campaigns like Armani and Calvin Klein and bringing it to real couples.”

Jonne calls her shots “morning after” photos: couples writhing on a bed, a hand on a steamed shower glass.

The couple featured in her now viral images are newlyweds she recruited for a test shoot. She spent the day at their home capturing intimate moments between the couple, who had only been married for four months.

After a New York Daily News reporter spotted the images on the bride’s Facebook page, Jonne’s “morning after” concept blew up and assignments are rolling in.

What SheSays: Creepy. Keep your boudoir photography out of the wedding album.
