Dragons volleyball team picks up a split

WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Minnesota State Moorhead volleyball team went 1-1 in its second day at the Rollins Invitational on Saturday night.

After falling to California (Pa.) 25-23, 27-25, and 25-20, the Dragons rallied to beat another team ranked in the top 25. MSUM topped Rollins 22-25, 25-19, and 28-26 to finish out the day.

Heidi Lensing tallied 11 kills in each match. Kaitlin VanWinkle added 17 kills, one block, and two aces in the two matches.
