Rally for Changes raises maternity care awarenessFARGO – Thousands of men, women and children will gather on Labor Day to raise awareness about the state of maternity care in the U.S.
More than 100 cities, including Fargo, are participating in Improving Birth’s National Rally for Change.
The Fargo rally will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the southeast corner of 32nd Avenue and 25th Street South (the Sunmart Plaza parking lot).
Rally coordinator Amber Kracht says the event aims to bring attention to the “alarmingly high rates of medically unnecessary cesarean sections and labor inductions, as well as other troubling policies and procedures.”
