Sanford signs replace Medcenter One logos at Bismack medical centerBISMARCK – The recent merger here of Medcenter One and Sanford Health became visible today when new signs were unveiled at the medical center.
The merger is being celebrated with an employee picnic. Besides the installation of Sanford signs, the new look includes Sanford’s signature blue lights lining the top of the downtown medical campus.
“It’s a great honor to be part of the Sanford family,” Dr. Craig Lambrecht, president of Sanford Bismarck, said in a statement. “While the name brings great awareness, it also brings great responsibility for quality and service. We are excited to take on that challenge and to live up to those expectations.”
Pat Durick, who chaired the Medcenter One board and is a member of the Sanford board, said, “Sanford’s commitment ot communities is well-known, both within its halls and beyond in the larger community.”
The next step in the integration involves connecting employees across the Sanford network, the health system said in its announcement of the sign change.
Sanford and Medcenter One officially merged July 2. Sanford has more than 1,200 physicians and 25,000 employees in seven states.
