Ex-tribal officer to plead guilty to hindering policeBISMARCK — A former Three Affiliated Tribes law enforcement officer accused of harboring two men who escaped from a jail in New Town says she will plead guilty.
Jessica Folden is charged in federal court with hindering law enforcement. The charge carries a maximum penalty of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
Authorities say Jake White Body and Brandon Young Wolf were at Folden's residence after they escaped from the Gerald Tex Fox Justice Center in New Town on May 12.
Folden allegedly lied to officers about the whereabouts of the fugitives and refused to let officers search her residence for several hours.
White Body and Young Wolf were eventually apprehended.
